Our services are available to women, men and youth who have experienced sexual assault, and any woman who has experienced or is currently experiencing:
Childhood sexual abuse
Battering and/or abusive relationships (including both heterosexual and lesbian relationships).
Sexual harassment
Free counselling is available to women wishing to deal with issues surrounding sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and/or relationship violence. We will also provide free counselling to men who have experienced sexual assault as adults
.Our sexual assault line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Staff and fully trained volunteers are ready and willing to provide support and information when you need it.
We offer educational workshops for any community group interested in learning more about violence against women. Presentations are tailored to meet the needs of each individual group.
We have and extensive resource library that includes books, journals and audio/video tapes. The public is welcome to peruse or borrow from it at any time.
We provide accompaniment to medical services, the police station and court, for those individuals who choose to pursue a police investigation or civil court action.
We provide medical, legal, therapeutic and shelter referrals as necessary.
We provide support to families and/or friends of survivors of sexual assault or childhood sexual abuse.

Individuals who experience violent situations are among the most oppressed and disadvantaged in our society. The Centre uses a flexible approach to respond to both the immediate and long-term needs of individuals by offering services by skilled counselling staff and trained volunteers. Our services are provided for no charge and with no referral required.
